Where there’s muck there’s brass!
When we visited print and finishing company Andrews Finishing Limited, we discovered that their waste included plastic, which was of such a high grade that it was twice the value of the highest grade of waste paper. This plastic had historically been thrown away along with the company’s other rubbish - they were literally throwing money away. We suggested that with our help and expertise, Andrews could profit from recycling instead of paying to have it sent to landfill. We lost no time in installing a specialised bailing press and trained their staff to use the new equipment - all free of charge.
Andrews now gains from an income stream they had never considered, whilst saving the disposal costs of the recycled plastic which is voluminous and had unnecessarily increased the company’s waste disposal costs. A fantastic example of where TGM’s experience, quick eye and extensive knowledge of recycling benefited a customer and the environment.
