TGM wins contract for the UK’s largest print site

TGM has secured a new contract with News International to provide a paper recycling scheme for their new Broxbourne depot located in Hertfordshire. As the UK’s largest custom-built print site, the volume of waste paper requiring recycling is massive. The new contract is in fact an extension of the existing work TGM undertakes for News International. The newspaper publisher has entrusted its paper recycling to TGM since 2006 and despite heavy competition for the business, News International chose TGM because of the company’s extensive experience, proven track record and innovative approach to fulfil their paper recycling requirements.

With the expanded contract, TGM now recycles a staggering 43 tonnes of paper every day for News International - saving 215,000 cubic metres in landfill, and 12,900 kilowatts/hours of energy in paper manufacture, every day.
